Immunotherapy with Rituximab for Antiphospholipid Syndrome
This is a case report of a patient given rituximab immunotherapy with continued warfarin for warfarin resistant disease, with improvement in the concentrations of the involved antibodies and the clinical syndrome. This report gives a signal for the activity of this form of immunotherpay in treating aggressive versions of the antiphospholipid syndrome.
 
A Case of Hereditary Elliptocytosis
Here are three images from peripheral blood smear from a patient with Hereditary Elliptocytosis.The patient presented for a general check up when his CBC showed only mild anemia with slightly increased reticulocytes. The diagnosis was made incidentally when blood smear was examined.
