The Crookston Collection (Slide Images)
A digitized hematological collection of medical slides taken by Dr. John H. Crookston and made available to the public and doctors.

WFCC-MIRCEN World Data Centre for Microorganisms (WDCM)
WFCC-MIRCEN World Data Centre for Microorganisms (WDCM) provides a comprehensive directory of culture collections, databases on microbes and cell lines, and the gateway to biodiversity, molecular biology and genome projects.

National Cancer Center Cancer Image Reference Database
NCC-CIR is a reference database system of cancer images for physicians, which started as one activity of G7 sub project, MEDIREC (Medical Image Reference Center). It provides medical images and diagnostic information. Images include radiographs, magnetic resonance imagings (MR), endoscopic images, ultrasonographs and pathological images. National Cancer Center Information Committee collects the cases mainly from National Cancer Center and National Cancer Center East. Images provided in our site are published through the Committee review. We will be adding fields for search and the latest images with periodical renewal.

NIH Breast Cancer Tissue Resource Database
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) Cooperative Breast Cancer Tissue Resource (CBCTR) is funded by the NCI to supply researchers with primary breast cancer tissues with associated clinical data. The CBCTR can provide formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded primary breast cancer specimens with their associated pathologic and clinical outcome information.

Hematology Databases (Illinois State Academy of Science)
Hematology databases and listings in the following categories: blood groups gene catalog, hemtological values in animals, hemostasis, and platelet aggregation.

BloodLine Image Atlas
The first installment of this fully searchable directory features more than 1000 hematological slides depicting various blood disorders and malignancies. The Image Atlas represents some twenty years of work by Jean Shafer, Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Rochester School of Medicine.

The Blood Group Antigen Gene Mutation Database
The Blood Group Antigen Gene Mutation Database (BGMUT) was set up under the aegis of the Human Genome Variation Society (HGVS) in 1999. It documents variations in genes that directly or indirectly affect our blood groups. It thus is a locus-specific mutation database (LSDB) that covers multiple genes. The database was compiled and has been curated by Olga O. Blumenfeld, PhD, Department of Biochemistry and Santosh K. Patnaik, MD, PhD, Department of Cell Biology, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, NY. In 2006, this website moved to the NCBI to become part of dbRBC. Many who are experts in the study of blood group systems, have contributed to the development of this database by providing, among other things, information on the systems and the alleles.
