ASH Award Opportunities
The American Society of Hematology bestows annual grants in the following categories:
- Scholar Awards: designed to encourage beginning biomedical scientists to embark upon a career in hematology
- Summer Medical Student Scholarship Program: designed to provide medical students with an introduction to the specialty of hematology by encouraging them to take time during a summer to work on a project with a hematologist.
- Travel Awards: recognizes medical students, graduate students, resident physicians, and post-doctoral fellows who are both first author and presenter of an abstract.
- Merit Awards: offered to the first authors/presenters of abstracts that receive the highest score in the categories of medical student, graduate student, resident physician, and post-doctoral fellow.
